You
may remember some snapshots of your own that would make outstanding paintings.
Sunsets or sunrises are always good while winter snows and old buildings
are nostalgic. Maybe you have a great view from your vacation home.
Always look for good contrast (shadows and highlights) in your photographs,
whether color or black and white.
Although this painting includes
a figure, it is primarily a landscape painting and I would not charge extra
for the figure. The same would be the case if there were a small building,
animal, or other object. If the object were larger or more important,
you should either commission a painting from a more appropriate category
or add the cost of an additional object below.
