Conservatism (aka Right Wing) – It would appear to me that a conservative individual believes in the following tenets. One, the United States of America is a great nation with a God given responsibility to police the rest of the less fortunate world. Two, that the American people are somehow better than the rest of the worlds citizens. Three, war is a perfectly legitimate means to pursue political and economic agenda's (or, rephrased, might makes right). Four, economic power is the accumulation of vast sums of money, and justifies any action required to do so. Five, it is the government's prime function to ensure that wealth is transferred from those who produce, to those who manage production thereby providing economic power to the correct people. Six, everyone is on his own, and responsible to or for no one but him or herself. The money is the final score, and nothing else really matters. If you do not believe in everything I say, you are an evil “liberal”.

Liberalism (aka Left Wing) – The liberal seems to believe the following. One, the United States of America is a great nation with a God given responsibility to provide aide and assistance while policing the rest of the less fortunate world. Two, that the American people are somehow less admirable than the rest of the worlds citizens, and somehow guilty of success. Three, war is always a last resort, and an illegitimate means to pursue political and economic agendas. Four, the accumulation of vast sums of money is somehow evil, but justifies any action required to do so. Five, it is the government's prime function to ensure that wealth is transferred from those who produce, to those who either do not, or can not produce thereby providing economic power to the correct people. Six, everyone is responsible for everyone else, and the individual is never to blame for what happens to him or herself. The money is the final score, and nothing else really matters. If you do not believe in everything I say, you are an evil “Conservative”.
